A coordinate is not permission, an entry point or a rescue plan

How to use a place record without publishing unsafe access instructions or assuming a right to swim.

The point is for source lookup

The coordinates in this register identify a general monitored place for weather and nearby-source queries. They are not turn-by-turn directions, a verified entry, a title boundary or proof of public access.

Access can change

Parking, paths, gates, beach zones, construction, seasonal controls and landowner permissions can change after publication. Check the land manager or local authority and obey current signs. Do not climb barriers or use an entry you cannot safely reverse.

Inspect the whole route

A viable plan includes the approach, entry, primary exit, alternative exit and recovery location. Tide or river level can remove an exit that was available on arrival. Confirm the route again immediately before entering.
